Seminole Golf Club

Seminole Golf Club, located in Juno Beach, Florida, is a prestigious private golf club renowned for its rich history and exceptional course design. Established in 1929 by investment banker Edward Francis Hutton, the club features an 18-hole course crafted by the legendary architect Donald Ross. The course is celebrated for its strategic routing, utilizing the natural dune formations and coastal landscape to create a challenging yet harmonious layout. The design incorporates elevated greens, deep bunkers, and varying wind directions, demanding precision and thoughtful play from golfers.

Throughout its history, Seminole Golf Club has been associated with numerous prominent figures, including Joseph P. Kennedy, Henry Ford II, and Presidents John F. Kennedy and Dwight D. Eisenhower. The club has also hosted significant events, such as the Walker Cup in May 2021, where the United States secured a 14–12 victory. In May 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Seminole hosted a televised charity skins game featuring top golfers, marking the first time the private club opened its doors to a televised event.

The course underwent a notable renovation between 2016 and 2018, led by architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, focusing on restoring bunkers and enhancing the natural sandy expanses, while preserving the original Ross design elements. Today, Seminole Golf Club remains a symbol of golfing excellence, offering an exclusive and challenging experience that honors its storied past.
